I’m about to break down why I ship MakoHaru man okay
Look at this. Rin doesn’t understand Haru’s feelings. He’s trying to push things on Haru instead of actually being there to try and understand what he’s going through.
This scene too wow let me explain to you why this scene is important
Can we just talk about the fact that after the particularly traumatizing nightmare Haru had, the first thing he did was look at Makoto?
Although Makoto was the only other person in the room, the Haru we know from season one would probably have just gotten up and left without bothering to look over at Makoto. I stand by my statement that Makoto is a source of comfort to Haru.

Not only Haru stayed so he could spy on Kisumi around Mako
but also to let Kisumi know that this time
*He* is taking Makoto from *him*
so not only does Haru hold a 5 year grudge
HE FUCKING TAKES REVENGE FOR IT
That look I give you when I’m stealing yo boyfriend
okay so basically we all know that Makoto usually says "it’s pointless without you Haru" So now that Makoto IS showing the initiative Haru doesn’t want to get in his way at all. Even when Nagisa and Rei offered to help Haru made sure they didn’t interfere.
Without pressureing or giving any personal advice he just says “You should just do it your own way”
It’s adorable to see them all maturing in their own ways and helping each other out as well (◡‿◡✿)
reminder that not only did haru walk all the way to the swim club to hand makoto his lunch,
but he also waited for hours (until the evening) for makoto to finish his work…
even if you don’t ship makoharu you have to admit that’s some pretty damn good friendship right there.
haru’s also known for not bringing his mobile phone with him, and i don’t think he swam while he was there; how boring must waiting have been for him?
